A little slow.

Things have been a little slow and quiet since my last post. Not much drama, just normal stuff like worming and moving pastures. I have come to realize that now that we have a herd of 30 head of sheep that I need to invest in a chute, catch pens, an ultrasound machine, and learning to deal with wool breeds. I use hand shears mostly due to the ease of them not needing electricity ( I do not have power at my barn and the battery clippers are too fancy for my budget). I am also looking to go to the local USDA office to check into grants and programs that may be available to help our farm be better and look into ways for funding the things that we need to run smoother and more efficient. So while there is no physical labor and exciting things happening, there is always something to do.
